This online course provides HIV information that can be important to know if you provide HIV prevention counseling and testing services.
This training module is offered by the Family Planning Council and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s AIDS Activities Coordinating Office (AACO). |
Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to:
- Describe the biology of HIV
- Discuss HIV transmission and prevention
- Describe HIV antibody testing
- Review interventions, psychosocial and legal issues and other HIV information

Audience:

Anyone is welcome to view and participate in this training course; however, it is most specifically designed for staff who work in AACO-supported medical settings who provide HIV prevention counseling and testing services. |
