This on-line training is designed to improve the ability of staff in a variety of health care settings to support individuals in making behavior changes that will reduce their risks for acquiring or transmitting HIV.
This training module is offered by the Family Planning Council and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s AIDS Activities Coordinating Office (AACO). |

- Follow six steps to conducting an HIV prevention counseling session.
- Practice key HIV counseling skills and concepts.

Anyone is welcome to view and participate in this training course; however, it is most specifically designed for staff who work in AACO-supported medical settings who provide HIV prevention counseling and testing services. |
